The 73rd Anniversary Dinner cum Training Centre Fund-Raising Campaign was successfully held at 7pm on Thursday 1/12/2008 at Thean Hou Temple, Kuala Lumpur. The Selangor State Senior Exco YB Teresa Kok to officiate the opening ceremony. Ribbons were cut and gongs were sounded during the opening ceremony with souvenirs given to all ribbon-cutting guests and gong strikers. Educational Awards were given out and prizes were given to members who had won industrial awards. All the awards were designed and made by the treasurer Mr. Lam Ming Swee and raw materials sponsored by the Internal Auditor Mr. Lim Beng Geok and were gold plated by Lee plating Company. The souvenirs gave everyone a pleasant surprise.
